2026 Post-Fall Festival Retreat

Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka

Post-Fall Festival Retreat, 23–25 Oct 2026

Friday 23 October to Sunday 25 October 2026

At Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre, Golders Green

With Kadam John McBretney

OUR REAL HEART JEWEL

Following on from the NKT-IKBU International Fall Festival at KMC Malaga in Spain, Kadam John will lead a retreat based on the teachings and commentaries received at this Festival.

During this special retreat he will guide meditations on how to develop and improve our faith in our Spiritual Guide seen as one with Je Tsongkhapa and on the practice of Migtsema, the special mantra and prayer of praise and request to Je Tsongkhapa. The Migtsema practice is the best method for increasing our faith in Je Tsongkhapa and his teachings.

If we practise Je Tsongkhapa's teachings sincerely with faith, we can attain enlightenment quickly and easily.

Everyone is welcome. The first session on Friday is an introduction to the retreat, so you can join even if you did not attend the Festival.

The retreat ends on Sunday 25 October, Je Tsongkhapa Day, when Kadampa Buddhists around the world celebrate Je Tsongkhapa. We will mark the day in the final session with Offering to the Spiritual Guide puja with tsog.
