Happiness can feel elusive, especially when life becomes busy, stressful, or uncertain. Yet according to Buddha’s teachings, genuine happiness is not something we need to chase outside ourselves—it arises from nurturing inner habits that support a peaceful, positive mind.

In this gentle and practical half-day retreat, you’ll explore the simple habits of genuinely happy people—such as appreciating the present moment, responding to difficulties with wisdom, and cultivating kindness towards ourselves and others. Through accessible teachings and guided meditations, you’ll learn how to let go of unhelpful mental patterns and develop qualities that lead to a happier, more balanced life.

You will discover how to:

  •  Cultivate the daily mental habits that naturally create happiness
  •  Let go of thoughts and behaviours that undermine your peace
  •  Build a more calm, clear, and emotionally resilient mind

The Teacher, Gita Gupta, has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism for many years. She presents the teachings sincerely and practically, inspiring inner peace and a good heart. Her warm, down-to-earth style helps students feel comfortable and confident in applying meditation and Buddha’s advice in daily life.
