Think Better, Feel Better

Current series dates: June: 2, 9, 16, 23

This series is a practical and accessible introduction to meditation and Buddhist psychology, designed to help you develop a calmer, clearer, and more positive state of mind.

You’ll learn how to meditate step by step, discovering simple techniques to settle your mind, let go of stress, and build inner resilience. Just as importantly, you’ll learn how to bring these skills into daily life — so you can respond more calmly to challenges, think more clearly, and feel more in control.

Each class includes a guided meditation, a practical talk with time for questions and discussion, and clear take-away tools you can use straight away.

These classes are suitable for everyone, whether you’re completely new or already have some experience.
Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time.

You will:

  • Learn simple meditation techniques to calm your mind and reduce stress
  • Understand how your thoughts shape your feelings—and how to respond more skilfully
  • Develop practical tools to think more clearly and feel more balanced in daily life

The Teacher: Richard has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years. He is known for making the teachings clear, practical, and relevant to everyday life. He shares Dharma in a way that is grounded, accessible, and easy to apply. He brings warmth, humour, and an approachable style to helping others develop greater peace of mind, wisdom and happiness.
