The Power of a Calm Mind - Silent Day Retreat

Sat 2 May 2026 | 10am - 3pm

At Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre, Golders Green

With Kadam Ai Peng McBretney

In the midst of our busy, fast-paced lives, the mind rarely gets a chance to rest. Thoughts keep moving, emotions fluctuate, and we can easily feel overwhelmed or unsettled. This silent day retreat offers a precious opportunity to step out of everyday noise and reconnect with the peaceful stillness within.

Through guided Buddhist meditations and periods of silence, you will learn how to:

  • Settle the mind and experience deep inner calm
  • Let go of mental busyness and tension
  • Discover the strength and stability of a peaceful min

The retreat is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. By the end of the day, you’ll feel refreshed, centred, and equipped with practical methods to bring calm and stability into your daily life.
