Two inspiring talks on the healing power of meditation
We all want to heal our body and mind, but we often don’t know how. In these two practical talks and follow-up meditations, beloved Buddhist teacher Gen-la Dekyong will explain how meditation can help everyone bring about an authentic inner healing, allowing us to deal with painful feelings at their root and develop a deep, stable happiness
Each talk will be followed by a guided meditation led by one of the teachers at London's two Kadampa meditation centres. No experience needed — everyone is warmly welcome.

Improve Your Mind, Improve Your Life
Talk by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
We work hard to improve our lives — better jobs, homes, relationships — yet lasting satisfaction always seems just out of reach. Why is that, and how can we break the cycle?
Buddha taught that the world we experience depends entirely on the mind. By practising simple methods to improve our thoughts and replace negative habits with positive ones, everything in our life — our relationships, our work, our daily happiness — will naturally improve.

Discovering A Deeper Kind of Happiness
Talk by Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
A good meal with friends feels wonderful — but why does it do so little to reduce our underlying stress and anxiety? Is there a deeper, more lasting happiness available to us?
Buddha taught that we have the potential for a far more satisfying happiness by developing the capacity of our mind. In this talk we'll learn simple, practical methods to cultivate a stable inner peace — one that stays with us regardless of what life throws at us.
