Most of us spend our lives trying to be happy — building relationships, pursuing security, recognition, or comfort. Yet even when things go well, satisfaction rarely lasts. What we worked so hard to gain can quickly become a source of stress, pressure, or disappointment. And when life becomes difficult, it can feel as though happiness is the first thing to disappear.
Buddha taught that happiness doesn’t depend on perfect conditions. Even in a busy, modern life, it’s possible to develop a deep, stable sense of wellbeing — one that grows stronger rather than weaker when we face challenges.
In this course, you’ll explore a series of profound yet practical meditations that guide us towards genuine, lasting happiness. These meditations help us understand the inner causes of dissatisfaction and show us how to transform everyday difficulties into sources of strength, compassion, and wisdom.
As we put these teachings into practice, we begin to relate to others with more warmth and understanding, feel less controlled by self-criticism and frustration, and experience a richer sense of meaning in daily life.
In these classes, you’ll learn:
The foundations of lasting happiness
How to deal with difficult people and situations without losing inner peace
Practical methods for reducing anxiety, frustration, and emotional pain
How love and compassion become reliable sources of happiness
Simple meditations for loosening self-centred habits and expanding the heart
How to turn challenges into opportunities for personal growth
Suitable for everyone — whether you’re new to meditation or already have some experience. Everyone is welcome.
