From Conflict to Calm - Half-day Retreat

Sat 7 Mar 2026 - Half-day Retreat 10am - 1.15pm

At Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre, Golders Green

With Douglas Robb

Life often brings moments of tension, disagreement, or inner turmoil. When our minds are caught up in conflict—whether with others or ourselves—it can be difficult to find peace and clarity.

In this half-day retreat  Douglas Robb will explore practical Buddhist meditation techniques to help you transform inner and outer conflict into calm, clarity, and understanding. Through guided meditations and gentle reflection, you will learn how to:

  • Recognize the roots of tension and stress
  • Let go of unhelpful thoughts and reactions
  • Cultivate patience, compassion, and inner peace

This retreat offers practical tools to bring more balance and serenity into your daily life, leaving you refreshed,  centred, and able to respond with calm rather than frustration.

Everyone is welcome – no experience needed.

The Teacher, Douglas Robb, has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism for many years. He presents Buddha’s teachings in a clear, thoughtful, and practical way, making them easy to integrate into everyday life.
