Dorje Shugden Retreat - The Power of Spiritual Protection

Two weeks retreat from Saturday 3rd to Friday 16th January 2026

At Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre, Golders Green

With Kadam John McBretney

Spend two weeks deepening your connection with Dorje Shugden, the enlightened Dharma Protector of our tradition. This retreat offers the opportunity to receive his special care, dispel obstacles, and create the conditions for spiritual progress to benefit all living beings.

Although this is not a close retreat, we can make progress in counting and collecting the mantras of Dorje Shugden during the sessions. We can make heartfelt requests using the words from the sadhana, Wishfulfilling Jewel, to deepen our faith in Dorje Shugden and receive his powerful blessings and protection.

  • All the attainments I desire,
  • Arise from merely remembering you
  • O Wishfulfilling Jewel, protector of the Dharma
  • Please accomplish all my wishes
