Living at Heruka Kadampa Meditation Centre offers a unique opportunity to deepen your experience of Buddha's teachings while being part of a supportive Buddhist community in the heart of London.
Residential life at Heruka KMC is ideal for those who wish to integrate Dharma into their daily lives, develop their meditation practice, and contribute towards making these precious teachings available to others.
As a resident, you will have the opportunity to:
- Live within a Buddhist community dedicated to developing inner peace, wisdom and compassion
- Attend regular meditation classes, study programmes, retreats and special events
- Deepen your understanding and experience of Buddha's teachings through daily practice and community life
- Support the Centre's activities and help make Kadam Dharma more widely available in London and beyond
Heruka KMC is situated in Golders Green, North London, just a short walk from Golders Green Underground Station, bus station and local shops. The beautiful Hampstead Heath, Golders Hill Park and surrounding woodland areas are also nearby.
Residents live in a vegetarian, alcohol-free and TV-free environment designed to support a peaceful and harmonious community life.
Residential places are offered to those who wish to make spiritual development an important part of their lives and support the Centre's activities. While no previous experience of Buddhism is required, an interest in meditation, Buddhist practice and community living is essential.
