These courses are taught by Kadam John McBretney, the Resident Teacher of Heruka KMC. Kadam John has studied and practised Kadampa Buddhism for many years under the guidance of his Spiritual Teacher Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

In these classes we learn how we can stop responding with a negative mind when things go wrong. Instead we will come to see our difficulties as opportunities for inner growth and development. In this way we will be able to remain happy and peaceful even in the face of serious adversity.
About ‘The Healing Power of Meditation’
In this course we discover how we can permanently heal our mental pain through meditation, and find a real source of happiness and well being inside our own mind.
What to expect
Classes are offered seated on chairs. Each class is self-contained and includes an initial breathing meditation, a talk and a second meditation. There is time for discussion, to ask questions and for advice on how to improve your practice of meditation at the end of each class. You can either book your ticket in advance or pay when you arrive. Everyone is welcome.
