Systematic Study of buddhism and Meditation
The Foundation Programme (FP) offers a systematic study and practice of meditation and Buddha’s teachings based on six of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s books. FP runs weekly throughout the year, offering structured study of modern Buddhist texts. Classes include guided meditation, teaching and group discussion, all aimed at enabling students to develop their daily practice and support each other to become skilful meditation practitioners. FP courses are focused around the systematic study of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s modern Buddhist texts.
Wednesdays 7pm – 9.15pm
Presently we are studying the book The New Eight Steps to Happiness. Based on the famous Eight Verses of Training the Mind by the great Tibetan Bodhisattva, Langri Tangpa, this inspiring book reveals essential methods for transforming all life’s difficulties into valuable spiritual insights and for developing universal love and compassion, the source of true happiness for both self and others.
